WW2 ITALIAN CARCANO MOSCHETTO MODEL 1891/38 91/38 6.5X52 MM CAVALRY CARBINE, CIRCA 1941. All matching with same serial numbers stamped on stock. 18" barrel with folding bayonet and factory sights. Mint bore and rifling. Top of barrel stamped "941-XIX" and "Gardone V.T." and serial number (preceeded by RO). Matching "FAG(under crown) and "41" under that arsenal stamp in large crectangle on buttstock forward of sling bar cutout with matching serial number behind cutout. Stock excellent never been sanded so all markings crisp but with some weather hairlines at buttplate. Excellent screws. Side sling mounts. Almost all the original arsenal blue remaining. NO import marks. Prime example of mounted troop carbine.
