COLT U.S. ARMY MODEL 1917 .45 LONG COLT REVOLVER WITH NEW SERVICE BARREL. Serial number "1132XX" on butt next to lanyard ring hole and 'U.S. Army Model 1917" is the Uncle Sam number. As opposed to the Colt factory serial number "267XXX" on the frame and crane. This is correct for all U.S. 1917 D.A. revolvers. This revolver has all the factory military finish with crisp Rampant Colt on left frame, Screaming eaglehead over "S20" and Crossed Cannons along with "S" nearby and "N" forward of triggerguard on right. Screws unturned. Action in perfect working order and crisp. Colt New Service barrel(and corresponding cylinder(.45LC) in place now with crisp barrel markings. Cylinder a perfectly timed replacement chambered for .45LC. Mint bore, rifling and chambers. Pachmyar two piece grips on it now. Make a nice shooter.
