Description:
This .45 caliber (.451) Model 1865 - Gibbs rifle has an octagon to tapered round 1-5/16" to 7/8" x 36" blued barrel with 1:18 twist. The bore is excellent. The barrel is fitted with a spirit level front sight with windage and has a full set of sight inserts. The P+ grade European Walnut stock with checkered wrist and forend is mounted with a color case hardened breech, tang, trigger guard and escutcheons plus a blued steel butt plate. The pistol grip cap and nose cap are black material. Mounted on the tang is a long range Creedmore sight with windage in the eye piece. The color case hardened percussion lock is activated by a single trigger. Length of pull is 14-1/4". Overall length is 52-1/2” weight is 12 lbs. Factory wood to metal fit - made by David Pedersoli. Condition: Very Good. Our stock number is P-31-96. Will ship anywhere in the United States. Buyer pays freight and insurance.
