Markings: The right side of the slide is marked “STAINLESS TARGET II”. The right side of the frame is marked “KIMBER KF 04565" behind the slide stop pin and “YONKERS NY USA” in front of the slide stop pin. The top of the barrel visible through the ejection port is marked “9MM”. The left side of the slide is marked “Kimber”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade with a serrated rear face and is dovetailed to the front of the slide. The rear sight is a square-notch Bomar-style target sight with a serrated rear face and is adjustable for windage and elevation dovetailed to the rear of the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are with smooth and checkered portions. The grips have no major defects, just light handling wear. The grips rate in mint condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This gun is easily 99% of its metal finish. There is no notable wear or damage, not any visible operational and handling wear. The grip screws are undamaged. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol rates in near mint condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The slide to frame fit shows barely any movement. The trigger is crisp. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your standards.
Our Assessment: For 40 years, Kimber has been producing some of the finest 1911-style pistols in America and this is no exception. The Stainless Target II comes from Kimber packed with features such as front and rear slide serrations, extended beavertail grip safety, full-length stainless guide-rod, extended thumb-safety, skeletonized hammer and trigger, adjustable target sights, and of course, Kimber quality. This example is in Excellent condition showing little sign of use, likely more from handling than actual firing and comes in its original box. This is a beautiful gun in high condition and would make an excellent addition to any collection, but where it will really shine is in competition shooting such as single-stack division in USPSA or Steel Challenge.
