Description:
Marlin Model 1893 Takedown Rifle in .38-55. SN #217769. Mfg. in 1901. LOP 13 1/4". 26" octagon barrel with an excellent bore. Bore has been re-lined. The blued barrel and case colored receiver are in very good condition for their age. The straight figured Walnut stock and forend are in good to very good condition for their age. Tapped receiver. Flip up front sight. Full tube magazine. Side eject. Crescent buttplate. Barrel marked "For Black Powder"., BUT FINE FOR STANDARD SMOKELESS LOADS.
