Winchester Model 1894 lever-action rifle in .30 WCF (.30-30 Winchester). This is the more rare takedown model. 26" octagon barrel. Straight grip stock.
This rifle appears to have had the bluing buffed off, whether this was done with the intent to re-blue or to make it appear as nickel finish is lost to time. The wood shows some wear for 120+ years but no cracks. Action functions well, takedown is tight and comes apart like it should. Small bit of paint added to the front sight. Light pitting through out. Bore is lightly frosted with some gouging but retains a good amount of rifling and brightness for its age. See pics for all details, if you'd like other angles please ask. Impressive for its age, this will make for a wonderful restoration rifle.
