This is a super rare Navy G Date Luger, one of only about 700 produced, according to Jan Still's Axis Pistols. This pistol is N property marked and Jan Still states that most of the G Date Lugers were N property marked. It has the correct Type 2 Navy marking on the strap. The original finish is about 85% with a very nice profile view but notably thin straps. Small parts still retain about 80% original straw. All parts are matching including the grips. The sideplate does have a slight 'double tap' on the "2" and is not marked internally. The magazine is period correct but numbered to a different Luger. Excellent bore with only minor frost.
