Description:
Nice, un-messed-with original Winchester. Factory metal and wood finish, good screw slots, nice original sights. Nice, tight action, beautiful, crack-free wood. Bore and rifling are really excellent, until about the last two inches from the muzzle, where we see some patches of corrosion damage. BUT...it still shoots well! It could get counter-bored back to the good rifling, or just leave it alone and enjoy it. Winchester 1892 44-40 caliber Ser# 7492xx made 1914. CA sales OK. FFL or C&R needed to ship.
