U.S. Model 1861 .58 caliber rifle-musket. Manufactured 1864 by Alfred Jenks & Son. Lock is “1864” dated and marked “US Bridesburg”. Barrel and lock are turning to a gray/brown patina. Stock has two nice cartouches. Very good overall Civil War rifle-musket.
