1926 vintage Emil Kerner (barrels are stamped Fluss-Stahl and Emil Kerner U. Sohn and Suhl) Double Barrel Shotgun fitted with 29 inch barrels (bottom of barrels is date stamped 7/26 & Nitro), with solid rib and choked full & full and a checkered Walnut forearm with horn forend tip and Walnut pistol grip stock with shadow line cheek-rest, horn butt-plate, horn trigger guard and grip cap. Gun is fitted lifters, double triggers, cocking indicators, and nicely engraved receiver, screw-heads, forearm latch, and barrels. Also, as is typical of European doubles, it is fitted with sling swivels. The gun is in very fine condition, retaining 70% blue on the barrels. The stock and forearm retain most all of their original finishes, with minor thinning around the grip and bottom of the forearm. The action functions perfectly, with a tight lock-up. The bores are bright, but the left barrel has some corrosion spotting just ahead of the chamber, and there are very small dent in both barrels (see pictures). The condition of the horn parts is very fine, with one small and one larger chip on the butt-plate, and a few very minor chips on the trigger guard.
