This is a nice all-original 20 gauge Belgian Browning A5 Light Twenty shotgun with a 28" inch ventilated rib barrel sporting a "Full" choke. This beautiful Browning A5 Light Twenty has obviously spent the vast majority of it's life well cared for. The original factory gloss blue finish is bright and beautiful, rating 90%. The only deductions we can find are on the frame around the feed lifter. All of the screws in this Light Twenty are pristine and appear unturned with perfect slots/heads, and all of the factory engraving and markings are crisp and clean. The bore is mirror-bright and pristine, free from any pitting, dents, bulges, or imperfections of any kind. The factory vent rib is tight to the barrel with no dents or loose joints, and the silver bead front sight is in perfect condition. The original stock set on this Browning Light Twenty is beautiful and in excellent condition. The forearm and buttstock are both 100% free from any cracks, chips, or repairs. The checkered panels on both the forearm and pistol grip are crisp, clean, and free from any damage or oil soiling. The original factory gloss wood finish is crystal-clear, bright, and spider-crack free on both parts. All of the original stock hardware is intact and in great condition, including the original Browning/FN-branded buttplate. This stock set is perfectly fit to the gun and tight to the metal with no wiggle. The action on this A5 is slick, strong, and precise, and the bolt-to-barrel lock-up is perfect when in battery. All of the internals of this shotgun are just as clean and free from wear as the exterior. All of the recoil parts on the magazine tube are in-place and in excellent condition. All of the controls on this Browning are in perfect working order and we have no doubt that it will fire and function just as well today as the day it left the factory over 62 years ago. A truly sought-after classic in the world of semi-auto shotguns, this Browning A5 Light Twenty should continue to be an excellent long-term investment as well.
