Description:
Winchester mod 70 pre- 64 300 H&H mag. action is clean with no extra holes in rear bridge. rifle has been well taken care of judging from its condition. has seen verry little field/hunting use. blueing is in good condition considering the rifles age. made in 1942, barrel is 26" with hooded front sight. crown looks great and rifling is strong with no pitting. very accurate, i will include the targets i have tested. i bought the rifle about a year ago. i"m such a model 70 fan, i couldn't resist the purchase. at 73 and with plenty of other rifles, i don't need to be adding guns. stock LOP 13 1/2 in to 1" pad. stock finish is great considering age and checkering is outstanding. griffin & howe mount with 1" rings. leupold 3x9 VX II scope. if you would rather not have the scope deduct $200. RCBS dies with 100 hornady cases. i am not a FFL holder. if you need a FFL to FFL transfer there will be a $50 charge. any questions call 615-491-3091. i am in central std time. please reasonable hours.
