Pair of ORNATE & ENGRAVED Antique 1850s Back Action PERCUSSION Belt Pistols
With Ottoman Kubar Style Double Holster!
Here we present a pair of Ornate European Antique Back Action Percussion Pistols, manufactured in the mid-19th Century. These are full-sized combat pistols in a man-stopping .67 caliber. Round barrels with a swirling Damascene pattern. The iron trigger guards are handsomely engraved, while the locks and hammers are engraved with a scroll motif. The wooden stocks are fluted at the grip, which is both practical and aesthetically pleasing. The ramrods are made of steel.
The overall condition is very good. The actions are strong all around. One hammer is cracked on the underside of the hammer head. The bores are smooth and gray. Both stocks are solid. The locks are lightly engraved with traditional designs. The embroidered holster is sturdy and in good shape. Here are two back action pistols creating a fantastic set to display!
