Description:
30-30, 20 inch barrel with an excellent bore retains about 75% finish, thinning in places toning to smokey gray. Rocky Mountain rear and a Lyman brass bead front sight. Color case hardened receiver and lever show aged colors fading in places darkening in others. Receiver is marked MARLIN SAFETY, has the Marlin inspection Star on the upper tang, shows signs of limited light cleaning, and has four holes drilled, tapped and plugged. Straight grip walnut buttstock and forearm have been freshened up with a light cleaning and an oil finish with scattered light handling marks. Stock has a small crack on the left side of the wrist at the receiver with a ribbed hard rubber butt plate.
