WW1 or WWII ORIGINAL BRITISH WEBLEY & SCOTT BRASS MK.III OR MARK 3 "1915" BRASS SIGNAL OR FLARE PISTOL. Dated 1915 and having crisp 'Webley & Scott Ltd." "London & Birmingham" stamp on left side along with all the correct WW1 British acceptance stamps. Opposite with 'W&S" next to logo along with serial number. . Various British "broad arrow" inspector's stamps on barrel too. Tight lockup. Original wood grip panels. Lanyard ring along with brass ring. Missing triggerguard (often removed to cut down on weight as did not affect function. Accepts 26.5mm flares and will work with modern ammo so you can have a classic signal/flare on your boat or backyard. Used extensively during the Great War for trench warfare use and the design went on to further uprgades based on this design into WW2.
