Colt Government model 1911 Automatic chambered in .45 Auto is in excellent condition. It comes with a wooden display case that has a golden plaque on the top that says "The Colt, John M. Browning, Commemorative". The inside of the lid also has a golden plaque that commemorates Colt firearms and gives a short history of the model 1911 45 ACP. The Left side of the slide has golden inlay that says "since 1911, Patented, Colt Pt. F.A. Mfg. Co. Hartford, Ct. U.S.A., APR 20, 1987, Sept 9 1902, Dec 19 1905, Feb 14 1911, C.L.F. Robinson, J.M. Browning". It also shows a soldier and 2 men shaking hands. The right side of the slide says "The Colt John M. Browning Government Model Commemorative 1911 Automatic" With Victory over an eagle and Colt logo. .45 Auto
