Description:
This is a VERY nice Remington Model 81 Woodsmaster semi auto rifle in .300 Savage. The blued barrel and receiver frame are in very good condition. The blued 22" barrel is excellent with sharp crisp rifling. The blued factory trigger is smooth curved that is light and smooth on release. The smooth dark walnut stock is very good with very minor handling marks, but one scratch on the LH butt stock at the butt plate. The textured black steel butt plate is very good. The Model 81 is the successor to the Model 8 Remington and was produced from 1936 to 1950. This example was produced in October of 1945, from the factory barrel markings. This will make a great addition to the gun safe. No box or other accessories. .300 Savage
