Description:
Near Mint Winchester 70 Fwt. in the venerable king of cartridges, the amazing 30-06. S/N 400*** with matching scribed bolt made in 1957. This rifle is in remarkable condition inside and out showing 99% Blue and 99% Varnish. Even the anodized aluminum bottom metal components are in virtually new condition! This is far and away the most desirable configured featherweight to collect, as it was still issued with beautiful high-quality wood...richly colored and nicely grained... along with the wide checkering panels and ALUMINUM butt plate instead of plastic. The barrel is 22" with an excellent bore. All mechanical functions are smooth and correct as well. They don't come much nicer than this one!
