Huge Flintlock Pistol from the 18th Century
Here we present an antique Flintlock Pistol, made circa the 18th Century. This large bored pistol would have been intended for warfare. As such, it could have been used by regular land or naval forces or even by militia or pirates.
The bore is .75 caliber. There is an iron pommel cap for support. The barrel is quite long at 11-1/4 inches.
The overall condition is good. The action is strong for its age. The bore is smooth and dark. A great historical piece that could fit in many different collections!
