This goes back to an era when distributors and resellers like Sears had the manufactures put their own name on the guns and often they were specked out to a nicer version than the one offered by the maker (still done today...by some)
This gun is an unmolested and rarely used example; it retains full blue on the barrel and approx 60 to 70 % of the orig case colors. The stocks retain all of their orig finish with very very sharp factory hand checkering showing no wear. This is a C&R gun .
This gun is not much less gun than a Skeeter for a fraction of the $. The ancient pad deteriorate and has been trimmed off. It should have eitther a pad replaced or a but plate to go over the spacer in place now. The actual LOP to the end of the spacer is 9/16ths. Bores are perfect, lever strait and ther eare not dings in the barrels. It is super tight. Barrels are 26"
