NOTE...THIS GUN IS UNDER DEPOSIT BUT WE HAVE JUST TAKEN IN ANOTHER THAT IF POSSIBLE IS ACTUALLY NICER THAN THIS ONE...WILL LIST HERE WHEN WE HAVE TIMEThere is virtually no carry wear on this extraordinary example of a 60's vintage 99F Featherweight . Chambered in the very much sought after .308 Only the few safe marks (compression marks and small bites) on the forend prevent this from being 100%. It is a true classic with all the features that have made this gun sought by collectors and woodsmen for over a century. 99F's are among the most handsom of all 99's in addition being lighter than some and nicer to carry. This on has the lever safety, brass rotatinng mag, round counter and cocking indicator. The lever retains much of its case color and the is really no carry wear to the underside from being carried. This vintage (t on the lever boss indicate1966) was factory drilled for scope so unlike some earlier guns that are devalued once after market drilling this one is not so affeccted. The scope is perhaps the most uinique US made Redfield with what resembles a Germanic reticle: similar to a post and cross hair (bold on the two horizontal and on the lower verticla line with a fine line above center. The bolt retains full engine turning (factory decorative) and there is NOT and has never been the often found upper tang crack.
It has the nice steel correct butt plate with little wear to blue at the toe and no rust or pitting.
