Imagine that old WASR-10 sitting in your closet....now imagine all the improvements you would want to make to it. You'd want to make sure the barrel was chrome lined, you'd want to get rid of all the rattling/cheap stamped receiver parts, you'd want to make sure the magazine didn't wobble, no matter what magazine you set into battery. You'd swap out the chiseled, unfinished wood furniture for something more durable and you'd tighten the fit and finish overall. Wish granted! The SLR-95 has all of those upgrades....and more! Google it, folks! The SLR-95 is widely considered THE VERY BEST AK-47 EVER MADE! Built for the commercial sporting market this AK variant was imported from 1994-1998 and stopped under the US Assault Weapon's ban in 1998. In 1997, this little PRE-BAN rifle slid into home plate and was grandfathered in. She carries a solid milled receiver, factory 10rd magazine but is milled to accept higher capacity magazines....even drums! She carries the military AK-47M1 military barrel/chromed. Her fit and finish is unlike any AK we've held to date.....without modifications. Are you tired of paying too much for junk that needs repairs and modifications?
