Description:
Very Nice Phila. A.H. Fox Sterlingworth in 20 Gauge.  26" Barrels Choked Modified and Full.  Metal Work on the gun has been redone.  Case Colors are 100% but do not look like Turbull's.  Barrels are also redone or appear to be and they are beautiful, lettering and all (pictured).  Wood was not redone and can't believe why the wood was not refinished, especially the forend where the checkering is quite worn.  No apparent splits or cracks in either.  Two very slight grain separations, one on each side and really not distinquishable with the camera.  Coming off the receiver and about 1/2" on the left side and 1/4" on the right side.  Been there forever.  Gun is tight and bores are perfect.
With the wood redone, this would be a very desireable little 20 Ga.  You will see (pictured) the end of the barrels, the metal at the end was not filled when redone.  Still a great little upland bird gun.
