Description:
This is a very nice 28 ga that started its life in 1968 as a "new series Skeet" gun. Both barrels are choked **$, top barrel mesures at.540 and the bottom measures at .542. Straight tang with an English grip, and as the pictures show, obviously upgraded wood. The forearm wood was also changed to a field style, and this necessitated the hanger being moved on the barrel and a small hole was professionally filled in the center rib. It was very well done and you can barely find the spot!! LOP is 14 1/8", weight is 6.8 lbs. Serial number is 2087F8. DAC is 1.5" and DAH is 2.25". A very nice gun in excellent condition and it is perfect for quail or doves, or it will make a positive impression on the skeet field too. Does come with a Browning hard case that still has its keys. A handsome gun that is scarce, and its hard to find a 28ga Superposed set up like this one is.
