Description:

L.C. Smith side by side 10 Gauge shotgun. Made in the 1880’s. Damascus barrels are marked “Syracuse N.Y.”. Stub twist and measure 32” (Do not shoot modern smokeless shells; for black powder only). Bores have pitting (which is common among this vintage of shotguns). Original butt plate is worn and has dog game scene. Stocks have been refinished. Metal has a gray patina. Receiver is marked “F” for quality/ grade. An iconic American shotgun in scarce 10 Gauge.
