Pending sale. REDUCED! Rare original Winchester 1873 Trapper with 16 inch barrel in 44 WCF. The overal condition is very good, bore is clean with good rifling and markings are clear. The trapper retains 85-90 percent of a very old period nickel finish. The Winchester letter that came with the trapper does not show finish type and I cannot determine if the finish is original but it is of the period. The trapper is in excellent mechanical condition and the action remains tight. Trappers typically saw heavy use and are rarely found in this condition. This Trapper was produced in 1899 and is right on the line as far as age so it will need to ship to an FFL or C&R. Shipping and insurance will be at actual cost.
