Description:
Early Italian Flintlock Holster Pistol by Lazari Cominaz, approx. .58 caliber, 11-1/2" barrel, 19" overall, top of the barrel is marked LAZARI COMINAZ. Lock and hammer with fine engraving. Nicely figured stock with brass furniture including serpentine sideplate. Ramrod pipe and trigger guard tang have been repaired. Forend with old age cracks near the ramrod pipe, left side with a hairline crack near the sideplate screw, both areas remain solid. Maker's name on top of the barrel is legible and the engraving on the lock, etc. is clear. Barrel color is a combination brown patina and gunmetal gray. Brass pieces and lock have been lightly cleaned. Hammer and trigger operate smoothly. Overall condition is good.
