Description:
Smith & Wesson model 27-2 revolver. “N” frame, .357 magnum, 5” barrel, pinned and recessed. The classic .357! Originally, back in the 1930’s this revolver was first introduced as the Registered Magnum which was basically the same frame and mechanics. Barrel lengths and top ribs became standardized in the later versions but the 27 and the earlier models had the same “N” frame size, recessed cylinders and pinned barrels.
This particular revolver has not been shot much at all and unfortunately it was stored in an environment that allowed some tiny spots of surface rust to appear..near the muzzle on the left side and above the trigger just forward of the right grip panel. With that it is still 98%.
Special features are the 3T’s: target trigger, target hammer and target sights (white outline/red ramp).
