Description:
Probably well over a century in age and in amazing condition, About the only addition appears to be a non-original hammer screw/washer. The rest appears completely as it came from the factory, right down to the ornate buttplate with the right amount of chips and wear. The numbers are all matching- I did not look at the buttplate/ buttstock to see if they were numbered. Shows no signs of ever being reblued- in fact it appears the wood to be a fair amount of origional varnish present. Wood is nice with no cracks- has a fair amount of scratches and wear as one would expect. The lockwork and triggers work nice and smooth- and barrels lock up nice and tight- without play. Barrels are nice and bright- 12ga 2 3/4" and 30" in length and the barrels mike to about CYL and IC constriction. I have shot this with factory ammo. Probably not rated for steel shot? Need a C&R of FFL and certified funds- insured shipping $30 to lower 48. Note: receiver is "clean" with no small numbers to identify as to model- not anywhere- not on the water table- not on the barrel flats- not anywhere.
