Description:
Manufacturing of these revolvers occurred at the Hartford plant 1882-1886 not more than 4,000 were made. This one, serial number 16058 was made around the holidays 1883. Overall condition is extremely fine for a 137 year old single action Colt in ORIGINAL condition. There is quite a bit of original blue remaining on the blued parts. The frame, which was case hardened, is now a very attractive grey patina. All factory markings are as new. The grips are the exacting factory fit collectors expect from Colt and are without any cracks or bumps or scrapes - 100% The action works as expected. The bore is bright and shiny, with the rifling being like new. AMAZING & a once in a 21st century opportunity. If you are a true Colt collector you'll not want to miss this one.
