Description:
This is a very special gun. It was shipped free of charge to Major General Julian S. Hatcher, NRA, Washington D.C. on May 10th 1954. The gun is like new in box with only a slight turn ring. Looking at the recoil shield, the gun looks to be unfired. The box is nice, but not perfect. Included with the gun is a letter from the S&W Historical Foundation. Records indicate that this revolver was shipped with a 4" barrel, brushed blue finish and select checkered target grips.
