This rifle was designed by John Garand, who would later design the M1 Garand named after him, as a training rifle chambered in 22 LR. It is a magazine feed bolt action target rifle. This unit has a walnut stock with beautiful grain without the bumps and bruising that usually comes with military weapons. This rifle would be a wonderful addition to any military collection.
