Smith and Wesson Model 36, Chiefs Special, Nickel plated, with a box, paperwork and cleaning brush. This mint example was manufactured in 1973. The nickel plate rates approx 98% with just one spot on the frame, under the Smith and Wesson logo. This certainly doesn't detract from the stunning appearance of this Smith and Wesson. The grips are close to 99% The mechanics appear as if this revolver hasn't been fired since it left the factory in 1973. The only downside to this grouping is that the box is for a Smith and Wesson model 37. However, the model 36 is stunning and would be a perfect example for a Smith and Wesson collection.
