Francotte 28 ga. "The Knockabout", 26" barrels feature an engine-turned rib, 2-3/4" chambers, choked modified and extra full (.011 and.028). Marked with the importer's "Abercrombie & Fitch Co. New York". Automatic ejectors, auto safe, double triggers. The straight grip stock with splinter forend measures 13-3/4" over a 1/2" pad. This little 28 weighs a mere 4 lbs, 15 oz.! Showing honest wear, the gun retains quite a bit of case color, locks up tight as a bank vault on the face and has excellent bores. Quite an unusual find in 28 ga.! Ultimate gun for upland birds!
