Description:
This Winchester Model 1886 was originally manufactured in 1893. I do not know what caliber it was then, but now it is a round barrreled full magazine .45-70. The barrel is a new aftermarket round barrel (not factory Winchester) with an excellent bore, and rifle has been fitted with a tang sight. Stock now has a recoil pad attached. Forearm with a slight alteration as shown in photos. Nonetheless it makes a nice shooter with a tight action and great bore without spending a fortune. No ffl required as it is an antique.
