Description:
This is a hard to find Whitneyville Armory Kennedy repeating rifle. The rifle was made from 1880-1886 with this rifle being in the first 25%. The action is smoother than a Winchester 1873 or 1876. This rifle does have some blue and wood finish wear but it is an old rifle from the days of the Wild West. The bore is bright and shiny and with black power rounds you should be able to shoot and hunt with it. (Ask your Gun-smith). .44-40 Winchester

Chambers: Lever action repeater.
Metal Condition: "Very good antique. The barrel is faded blue as is the magazine tube. Both have an even patina. The blue receiver retains well over half of the factory blue. The hammer, lever and butt plate have limited blue and even patina.
Wood Condition: Quits a few dings and dents with finish added. The wood itself is sound and solid with no cracks or splits.
Bore Condition: Bright and shiny.
Barrels: 24" round blue with sights.
Triggers: Single trigger.
Stock Dimensions:
12 1/2" LOP.
Fore End: Mid-grade walnut with strong straight grain.
Butt Pad: Matching straight grain walnut with a straight grip and crescent butt with trapdoor.
Weight: 8 Lbs 8 Oz.
Sights: Buckhorn rear with elevator and a Knife blade front.
