The blue is very strong on the barrel with a couple of minor marks, The magazine tube some wear on the right side forward of the magazine keeper and a small dent 4" in front of the magazine cap. The case color on the receiver, lever, hammer and forearm cap is very strong. The case color on the butt plate is faded but still there. The walnut stock and matching forearm are in great condition with a few minor dings and a little finish loss. This is an Antique that was built in 1891 with a premium caliber and in outstanding original condition. .45-70 Government SOLD Antique: Yes Chambers: Lever action repeater. Metal Condition: "Excellent antique with a very few ruff spots that have been cleaned up. The case color on the receiver lever, hammer, and forearm cap are very strong. The case color on the butt plate is faded and thinned. Wood Condition: Excellent with very few minor dings and presser dents. The factory finish has flaked some but there is still 80-90% coverage. Bore Condition: Bright and shiny. Barrels: 26" blue octagon with factory sights. Triggers: Single blue. Stock Dimensions: 13" LOP. Fore End: Very nice straight grain walnut with good finish and a case color cap. Butt Pad: Case color crescent butt plate. Weight: 9 lbs. 4 oz.
