This is a hinged breech block Springfield Armory 1884 "Trapdoor" rifle chambered in .45-70. It has 32.5" blued barrel and fixed blade front sight and ladder style rear sights. It has matching wooden fore end and stock that are in very good condition with some scratches. Metal is also in very good condition with some markings. The bore is bright and shiny. .45-70
