SHARP'S FOUR-SHOOTER - 1859 .30 rim-fire w/ an original period leather holster made specifically for this small wide-frame model, and SIX ORIGINAL LOADS come with it. The Sharps pistols were introduced in the west just before the Civil War. The revolving firing pin on the hammer struck, in rapid-fire order, the edges of it's four rim-fire cartridges as the trigger was pulled. The six, .30 cal. short rim-fire copper cartridges (with no Head Stamp) were made from 1860 to 1874 and are the earliest known cartridges made for the Sharps pistol, and extremely hard to find. Original Holsters for these are scarce enough (if any can be found at all) but this one is probably the only hand-tooled holster known in existance made for the Sharps pistol. The gun has a 3" barrel and is in overall excellent condition with all parts working fine.
