1940 PRE-WAR REMINGTON MODEL 31 or 31A 20GA. PUMP 28" SHOTGUN WITH FACTORY POLY-CHOKE. Exceptionally nice original factory condition with almost all original blue and crisp markings. The 28" barrel is not marked with the choke because in 1940 they came as an option from the factory with the Poly-Choke option as can be attested to by the the tapered up step to the poly-choke itself(see photo). Beautiful piece of wood on it with the original finish just beginning to crackle and with shallow gouge to finish only on left side of buttstock. Beavertail forend with two panel checkering and checkering to wrist original. Hairline to right wrist a few inches long will dissappear with some minor effort(does not go through and was repaired long time ago). Perfect working order and rare with factory polychoke in 20ga.
