Parker DH w 2 sets fine Damascus barrels & forends (fabulous original finish) 28” IC/Mod & 30” Mod/Full. One set is original to the gun the second is a different serial number but locks up perfectly. Both have excellent bores. After smokeless powders came into common use (ca. 1894) Parker, as well other better American makers, proved their guns for the new powder. Proof of that period was lower than today but is generally considered safe for standard 1 1/8 oz. 3 dram (1200 fps) load. The seller does not guarantee service ability with modern shells. This gun, serial number 85201, was made in 1896. The replacement stock has modern dimensions: 14 ¼-1 ½-2 ½ over a 1" black Old English pad. This is a really nice gun. The action retains excellent engraving and some original case color in protected locations. A good shooter or addition to your collection.
