Description:
Colt New Line 30 caliber revolvers were manufactured in Hartford Connecticut 1874-1876. They were the only 30 cal. guns Colt ever made. This one appears unfired. All matching serial numbers, as pictured. The grips are varnished rosewood with the serial number 4827 penciled inside at the factory. Under grip is the letter B on the frame. On the bottom of the frame and barrel they stamped it, as well as on the cylinder, along with a C. The acid etched panel and the stamped address on the barrel as well as all the other markings are in the condition they were when it left the factory so many years ago. AMAZING original nickel finish and still a bit of nitre fire blue on the small parts and back of hammer.
If you are a true Colt collector, you want this "NEW LINE" in your collection. It is beautiful, but has been returned for a refund once because there is something off on the hammer so price has been drastically reduced. Over insured 1st class shipping to your door is included in the price.
