Description:
This is a very RARE High Grade 7 American Arms Co. G.H. Fox Patent side swing 10 gauge SXS hammer shotgun. It has 30 inch mirror bores and no damage or dings, with very fine pattern Damascus barrels. The side locks, receiver, trigger guard, hammers and receiver bottom are all engraved with a scroll pattern and the bottom of the trigger guard is engraved with a Irish Pointer. The high-grade wood butt has a checkered pistol grip and fore end stock. The metal retains 60% case color and the numbered receiver, barrels and ejector are #2476. The wood still retains 90% original checkering. The Length of pull is 14”, the drop at the comb is 2” and the drop at the heel is 3”. This is the finest grade G.H. Fox that I have ever encountered. The left bore measures .740” and the right is .746”. The mechanical function and lock up are crisp and tight as new.
