****UPDATED Fine early Lefever E Grade in 16ga made with 28" Damascus barrels, splinter forend, double triggers, and capped pistol grip cap. Early gun with long tang trigger guard and buttstock which terminates with a proper original Lefever Arms Co. monogrammed BP. Nicely engraved in early E Grade pattern. The
This gun remains in fine condition with the only apparent restoration being the barrels having been rebrowned and now retain nearly all of their rebrowned black and white finish. The gun retains about 40% nice original case color and 40% original trigger guard blue. The stocks are sound and retain about 90% of their original finish with handling marks throughout. The truly outstanding part of this gun is the quality of the wood grain - it is superb!
