"Stevens Ideal 44 .25-20 caliber rifle. Exceptional ideal No. 44 rifle with 26" part round part octagon barrel and tang rear peep sight. Bore is excellent. Approximately 98-99% original finish. Receiver has all of its original case colors. Wood is excellent. Excellent overall condition. Note: Caliber is .25-20 single shot. Front sight is a beech folding front sight. Barrel rear sight is filled in with dove tail filler. Extremely fine example!
