24 inch half round barrel,,,,,, bore is bright with good rifling and some pitting,,,, factory letter describes main manufacturing parts some description of parts are sparce and left out or added later as usual 1x wood button magezine 44-40 caliber no caliber markings letter states casehardened but is now brown patina stock has some origina varnish and is in vg condition 1884 made
screw on dust cover is buggered and is hard to close ,, action works very well ,, metal markings crisp and barrel edges sharp used but not abused heavy patina on butt plate the screw slots are nice repo cleaning in butt sights look original except lyman tang sight which may be a period adition loads and ejects blanks very well
