Parker Bros. grade II 8 gauge hammer gun.Built in 1883,this gun has 34" damascus steel barrels.The gun has been expertly restored to excellent condition.The gun retains 100% of the case colors and wood finish.The damascus pattern has been restored on the barrels.The engraving has been recut perfectly.The bores are excellent with minor scaling in front of the chambers.Built on a #6 frame,this gun weighs 12-14.According to the factory letter,the gun was shipped to Chicago in May of 1883.This is a rare piece of sporting history that is still shootable with the correct loads.Classified as an antique so it can be shipped direct.
