It is a standard weight.
American Walnut stock and fore end.
The barrel was made in November, 1972.
I don't know how to tell what kind of choke is involved.
The serial number is also a fit, so it is very likely this is the original barrel.
Ventilated rib.
It is in excellent condition.
I bought this in the early 1970's from the original owner but used it very little. In the early 80's sold it to a friend who also used it very little. It had a lot of storage time for 20 years, then I bought it back. It's been in my closet for another 15 years. I thought I had told my wife I had re-obtained it 15 years ago and that it was in the closet, so I didn't understand why she was so surprised recently when she found it! Neither my friend nor I are able to hunt/shoot these days, and my wife would like a new refrigerator.
