ARGENTINE 1909 BOLO MACHETE KNIFE SHORT SWORD W/ SCAB & FROG BY KIRSCHBAUM. German made 14 3/4" un-sharpened bolo blade with "Weyersberg/ Kirschbaum & Co./ Solingen" on ricasso and "Modelo Argentino 1909" over crest on reverse. Original two piece wood panels held by rivets excellent. Birdshead pommel with 'RA" in oval. Some surface rust with no pitting will clean to nil. Steel hilt with serial number. Blade and hilt 20" overall. Original steel scabbard with some surface only rust and NO dents. Original leather frog with mint stitching and button snap. Prime example of German made blade all original.
