Beautiful Pre War/Transition era Winchester Model 70 in the incomparable 30-06 caliber. S/N 53*** with matching bolt made 1946 but of 100% Pre War components and finishes including the undrilled rear receiver bridge and the coveted rust blue barrel. 98% Blue, 97% Varnish showing a couple of shallow dents near the heel of stock and some scattered minor abrasions. 24" Barrel with a perfect mirror bore. All mechanical functions are smooth as silk and working properly. This is a rare collector grade rifle that does not come along very often.
